A few pictures from Gold Reef City for Carly's 5th Birthday

For Carly's Birthday we went to Gold Reef City. For the Californians, it is like Knott's 30 years ago and for Minnesotans, like Valley Fair today.

Cool thing is that it is built on a real gold mine, just the theme, like Knott's, has the whole mining town feel and some "education" built it.

Best of all, for the 6 of us to get it cost right around $100....not bad

Nicholas at "Golf World"

This little place has what I'd consider the best practice facilities I've ever seen. It has an 18 hole pitch and putt, countless chipping areas for practice, awesome driving range and of course, a great putting green. Here is a picture from the first hole.

Nick was happy to find this Praying Mantis on the wall outside. He also goes in search of gecko lizards which are not too hard to find and a few frogs also call our yard home.
